The Miniature Aussiedoodle was created by crossing the Australian Shepherd and the Miniature Poodle. This breed is very popular today and known for their high level of intelligence.

The Miniature Aussiedoodle is a small breed dog, weighing 15-45lbs in weight and measuring 10-15 inches in height. This breed stands confident and alert. They are available in over 28 different coat colors and combinations, including merle and merle tri. Their eyes vary from black, brown to shades of blue. It is common for Miniature Aussiedoodle's to have one blue eye accompanied by a black or brown eye. This breed has a long, triangular muzzle and medium sized triangular ears that fold alongside their face. Their coat is non-shedding and can range from tight curls to a medium length, fluffy texture. Their tail is medium in size and generally curves up and over.

The Miniature Aussiedoodle is an extremely smart breed, which means they require a great amount of physical and mental stimulation daily to keep them out of trouble. This breed is known for loving to run, roam and even swim! Their mind is always working, so it is important to keep them busy with tasks you can train them for, interactive dog puzzles and games and even agility exercises. Having proper energy outlet both mentally and physically, will result in a well rounded, fun family dog. Signs to look for if your pup is not receiving what it needs, will be acting out in ways such as barking, being destructive and not listening to your commands. Early training and socialization classes are highly recommended for this breed. Overall, the Aussiedoodle is an energetic, fun, smart, loving breed who will make a fantastic addition to the proper family who can meet their needs.

They require ongoing training to redirect their attention and stay focused. This breed can also be prone to separation anxiety.  Please fully educate yourself about this breed prior to adding one to your family to ensure a life long commitment physically and financially for your new dog. A proper leash and harness or properly fenced in yard is highly recommended for your new addition. All dogs originate from wolves (Canis Lupus). Each breed of dog was originally created by mixing different breeds together in an effort to bring forth certain characteristics. Dog DNA testing companies can have accurate results for a specific bloodline of a small colony of dogs. However, there are tens of thousands of different bloodlines in the world which have not yet been tested for marker baseline results by Dog DNA testing companies as of 2024. For this reason Dog DNA testing companies do not guarantee the 100% accuracy of their breed lineage results and will also show different marker results for the same pure-bred breed in different continents, countries, territories, regions, breed clubs, and canine pure-breed registries depending on the goals of their breeders.
